The MAGNet service is being withdrawn and there are now similar features on the individual websites of the relevant councils in Leicester & Leicestershire.
MAGNet was a councillor search developed by a partnership of local councils. Since MAGNet was launched the individual council websites have continued to develop and the cost of maintaining and developing the MAGNet site as well as these individual sites does not make sense. We have looked at the usage by the public of the MAGNet site and it is not used much. To redevelop the MAGNet site in line with the latest website mapping sites would be quite costly and so for efficiency, and technical reasons this site has been withdrawn.

This page will be removed and the service will be removed totally after the 30 November 2009.
